چکیده
In this work, four activated carbons were synthetized from natural olive stone (NOS) wastes using ZnCl2 as an activating agent. These (OSAC) for a constant mass ratio of ZnCl2: NOS 2:1, contact time 2 h and different heating temperatures (300, 400, 450 500 °C). The physicochemical characterization these by various analyses including N2 adsorption–desorption measurements, surface charge evolution versus pH, Boehm titration, Fourier transform (FTIR) scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the carbon produced at temperature 400 °C (OSAC °C) exhibited best properties. Indeed, it has highest BET area, total pore micropore volumes with values 740 m2·g -1 , 0.57 cm3·g 0.25 respectively. Moreover, is rich in acidic basic functional groups could react common adsorbents.

Removal of Anionic Dyes (Direct Blue 106 and Acid Green 25) from Aqueous Solutions Using Oxidized Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes
Background and purpose:The presence of dyes in wastewaters may cause serious problems for the environment because of their high toxicity to aquatic organisms and unfavorable aesthetical impact. In the present study, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used for removal of anionic dyes Direct Blue 106 (DB106) and Acid Green 25 (AG25), from water samples. Materials and Methods:MWCNTs were ...
متن کاملRemoval of basic dyes from aqueous solutions by activated carbon prepared from Tamarindus indica fruit shells
Activated carbon prepared from Tamarindus Indica fruit shells has been used for the removal of two basic dyes, namely, rhodamine B and malachite green from aqueous solutions. Freundlich, Langmuir and Redlich-Peterson isotherm equations were used to fit the equilibrium adsorption data and the isotherm parameters were evaluated. The Langmuir monolayer adsorption capacity was found to be 3.1 mg/g ...
